Holly was so excited when I pulled up her shade to reveal the beautiful white stuff. She asked me if she could go out and play in the snow I told her yes we would go this aftrnoon. Stay tuned for more pictures from later today!

I have a picture of Steve and Holly walking into the pumpkin patch last year on our refrigerator and Holly noticed it earlier in the year and ever since then, she has been asking to go to the Pumpkin Patch. Well it’s finally that time of the year and today we went to the pumpkin patch. We go to Manfredi’s Farm in Westerly and they have a bunch of animals there too and she had so much fun!!! She didn’t want to go near the donkey’s but she was very brave with the goats, sheep and chickens. She would of loved to have gotten closer to the ducks, but that wasn’t possible. I tried scrapbooking this weekend and while I did get 3 pages done, I’m not happy with any of them so I’ll try to re-work them until I’m somewhat satisfied. I seemed to have lost my scrappin mo-jo. Since that wasn’t working and I was really in the mood to scrap, I decided to try some digi scrapping. I purchased some templates from Gina Miller Designs last week so I thought they might help to get me going. Well it worked and I got 2 pages done. Then I took some time to organize my digital items to make it easier. I think this week I’ll just stick to digital and see what happens. Here are the 2 pages I did do…
No picture with Santa yesterday. That’s ok, i really didn’t expect that she would but it was worth a try. She did enjoy seeing him at first glimpse, then lost interest and just wanted to see the balls on the christmas trees (she’s obsessed with anything round!). But we tried and if I can get to the mall again next week, I’ll try again. I’m not going to push it. She’s never had her picture taken with Santa yet, but someday she will I’m sure. She received a christmas gift from my husband’s aunt and uncle this past weekend. They bought her a dora table and chairs. She LOVED IT!!! We have it set up in our TV/Playroom right now and hope to move it…
It’s hard to believe that Allison was 12 weeks old yesterday. She is getting so big and smiling all the time. She’s still sleeping great and last night she put herself to sleep in her crib, without my rocking her, that was great. She also rolled over onto her belly while playing on the bed with daddy last night. Mommy wasn’t in the room to see it, but that was OK because daddy never gets to see any firsts. She also LOVES to ‘talk’ to mommy (and everyone else, but especially with mommy). She just goes on and on babbling and cooing, I absolutely love our conversations. Last night I got her a Bumbo and she really enjoyed sitting in it this morning while mommy…
Happy Birthday My Friend!!!! We’ve know each other for about 23 years……..wow………that’s a long time!!! We’ve had a lot of fun over the years and we’ve had a LOT of laughs. I’m so glad we got back in touch so we can continue being friends for another 23 plus years!!! I hope you have a great day and you get exactly what you want for your birthday.
