Holly was so excited when I pulled up her shade to reveal the beautiful white stuff. She asked me if she could go out and play in the snow I told her yes we would go this aftrnoon. Stay tuned for more pictures from later today!
The time since Allison was born has gone by so fast for us. It’s amazing how the second time around is SO different than the first. Part of it is that Allison is such a different baby than Holly, but also we know (or at least have an idea) of what we are doing. I’ve already got Allison on some type of schedule, but since we already have ‘schedules’ for Holly, it’s so much easier get Allison on one. Of course she still has her moments where things don’t go as scheduled but for the most part they do. We are just enjoying her so much and she’s getting SO big SO fast. Holly turned 18 months last week. Amazing how fast that went by. She went for her 18 month checkup yesterday and did great. She still wasn’t to crazy about getting weighed (which I can’t blame her) but she did much better than she did at 15 months. She weighs 22lbs and is 31 1/4 inches tall. Perfect! She was a wild women in the exam room. She was all over the place running, jumping, spinning, laughing, talking etc. The doctor was very impressed with all of her. She’s so funny!! Yesterday we went for our big ultrasound where they see the baby’s development and can usually tell the sex but this baby did NOT want to be seen! It stayed in the same position, head down, belly down, the entire time we were there. She couldn’t even see everything she wanted to see, let alone between it’s legs. We were both very disappointed, not just that we couldn’t find out if we were having a boy or a girl, but just that she could not confirm that everything is going well. The heartbeat was great…….love hearing the sound of it!!! It was nice and fast, just like it should be and we got to see an arm and a leg (barely) and a few other…
That’s me!! Not sure how old I was there but I’m guessing a couple of months old. I was the second child so the pictures weren’t marked with dates or anything else. (LOL sorry mom but it’s true). I knew Allison looked more like my family but I didn’t realize how much she looked like me. When I pulled out that picture I felt like I was looking at her. We are happy to announce that we will be having our second baby girl in April and she looks great! Everything in the ultrasound is perfect and we are so excited. All those cloths of Holly’s that she didn’t get to wear much because she has so many, will have a change to be worn by her little sister. The girls got another trunk full of dress up cloths from Auntie Jodi for Christmas. They love playing dress up. This particular morning Holly just looked adorable. She is quite the fashionista! And a cute close up of my princess… Allison was showing me the picture that her and Holly drew online of Max & Ruby. I think they did a pretty good job! Holly is very artistic, she pretty much did all the drawings. Allison has her Cinderella dress on behind the picture, half on half off. My other Princess.
