ByKarenWe will be a complete family of FOUR in April!!! The newest edition to the Wilmes Family will arrive the end of April and we couldn’t be happier. Today was our first doctor’s appointment and we had an ultrasound and was able to see little Baby W for the first time. It’s little arms and legs were moving around like crazy. A very active baby, guess this one will be just like Holly!! It was so great to see the baby and now it feels so much more real, even though my belly has already begun to grow, this just reassures me that everything is going well.

Back To School Time
ByKaren“It’s the most wonderful time of the Year!!” Oh wait, that’s the holidays not back to school. Bad Me. LOL Yesterday was the first day of School and at a new school too! They girls were very excited. Especially Allison because she entered Kindergarten. She’s finally in the same school as her sister. She feels awesome! Holly started 2nd grade and was a little nervous and cried for a little bit before she went inside but she’s in the same class as our neighbor so that really helped her. She got over it pretty quickly in the end. We took a few pictures at the house first… And a YIPPEE Picture as well – though I’m thinking mom was more “YIPPEE” than the girls were….

Day Two of Spring Break School Vacation {Daddy’s Birthday}
ByKarenIt’s Day two of the girl’s Spring Break and today we celebrated my husband’s birthday. We usually go out for dinner to celebrate a birthday but we couldn’t tonight because Holly had softball practice and Allison had soccer practice so since the girls are home today, we decided to take Daddy to lunch for his birthday. He chose Gregg’s and no one minded. They have a special on Tuesday that when you order from the regular menu you get a drink and a desert for an extra $3.50. That’s a great deal since the drinks alone are $2.50 and the desserts are $6. So we took two slices of cake home to celebrate daddy’s birthday after practice. Steve would have been 46 today
ByKarenI have amazing friends. I spent the day with some of them and we had a great time. We went to dinner and we celebrated Steve. We know he was there with us because a song he loved, that we were talking about earlier today, came on while at dinner. Then we saw a boat similar to the one his parents owned while he was growing up. We all agree that was him telling us he was there. Thank you for all the birthday wishes for him, all the texts and love you all sent us today. It really helps and I appreciate it so much!!!
