Today is our 5th Wedding Anniversary. I can’t believe it’s been 5 years since we were married. Of course those have been 5 WONDERFUL years. My life changed almost 8 years ago when I met my husband. I knew shortly after I met him that we’d be together forever. It just felt right, I didn’t have to be someone I wasn’t, I could totally be myself and it was a great feeling. We didn’t have very good weather for the 4th of July but the girls still got to play at the beach at the yacht club for a little while. This was Allison’s first time in the sand and she LOVED it! She also enjoyed the water, she didn’t want to go all the way in but she was walking in as much as she could. But she wouldn’t leave mommy’s side, so she wasn’t all that brave. Of course, Holly LOVED the water. Holly loves to play dress up with Mommy’s hats and scarfs. I have a ton of hats and scarfs and they are all in a basket near the door, along with Holly’s hats and scarfs. She prefers to dress up in mine when we are home. It’s really cute. These were her two fashion’s this past weekend. I tried getting a picture of Holly and my mother this weekend but Holly didn’t want to smile properly, but I couldn’t resist posting this picture because I can’t believe how big she looks in here. It’s amazing to see how fast she’s growing up.

They finally came today to fix the holes in the ceiling, the chimney and finish taking up the rug downstairs. In case you don’t remember, a week before Allison was born, we had a bad rain storm and not only did water come into the basement but it came through our dining room ceiling too. It was not a fun time for us. But now the ceiling is fixed and the walls are freshly painted and they aren’t white anymore. They are actually a light greenish/yellow called Spring Blossom. Just some cute pictures I got of Holly over the weekend. The tired princess…… Playing in the sand at the playground, one of her favorite places to be! “Mommy look, a BIG rock!!” Sunday we went to my parents house for Palm Sunday dinner. Holly loves playing with her cousins and I was able to get a cute picture of her and Jonathan and then the three of them.
