A new look………..

I took this video this morning of Holly eating her cheerios with her ‘play’ spoon. The backyardigins is playing in the background, I was hoping to catch her dancing with them on video but of course the minute I started recording, she stopped dancing. Not sure how well this will work on here, it’s the first time I’m trying to put up a video. Hope it works!!

I can’t believe it’s already Friday again!!! The time just seems to be flying by.Just a few pictures of the girls this week I want to share…. In their PJ’s ready for bed…. That’s what Holly said today when I pointed to a picture of me! Finally I’m not “dada”. That’s what she usually says when she sees a picture of me but today she said “tat mommum” tat is That which she’s never said before. I’m so happy!!!! I don’t know if she’ll say it again, but at least she’s trying!!! These are the little things that make my day brighter, especially when it started earlier than I wanted it to. She slept better last night, but was up early again. Those darn teeth! I can’t wait until they are all out. Well I guess I really don’t want to rush that, because then it means she’s getting bigger which I’ve been having a hard time dealing…

Allison turned 10 months old this week, hard to believe that she’ll be 1 in just two months. As I’ve said before, where did the time go???She’s doing really well. She has been crawling like crazy since Christmas and pulls herself up on everything and is now cruising along the furniture. She really has the desire to stand and move along but she hasn’t tried to take any of her own steps yet. Still not letting go. But her balance is getting better and better every week so she probably will be walking by her 1st birthday.She seems to be going through a growth spurt and is eating so much more lately, but not so much in the form of baby food, but in the…

I impaitently waited for my laptop to arrive today….it was a long day!! I was like a kid on Christmas morning waiting for her parents to wake up. It finally arrived at 3:31pm. I was so excited…but it took for ever to get all the updates I needed and to add the virus protection and then I had to cook dinner…why didn’t we get take-out tonight? But I’ve got it now and it’s up and running and now I just need to transfer everything to it. What a chore….but a good chore. Thanks again Steve and Holly for my awesome Birthday Gift. I guess turning 33 isn’t so bad after all.

Sick Night. Yup! You read that right. Holly had so much fun with her new room, getting a hair cut and all her new toys (see post below) but her night wasn’t as much fun. Around 9:30pm she woke up and threw up all over her crib and everything in it. Poor thing was crying and shaking, she had no idea what just happened. So we got her up, cleaned her up and sat up with her most of the night. She continued getting sick for 4 hours!! Poor thing, all she wanted to do was go to sleep she was so tired. Steve went to bed around 11:30 so he could get up with her in the morning since I was obviously going to…
