One Flower…………

I’m taking an online class by Renee Pearson to learn how to Digital Scrapbook. I don’t think I will go ALL digital, but I DO want to learn. Santa Claus brought me Photoshop Elements 4.0 so that’s what I’m using. Here is the first lesson and my first ever Digital Page. Of course this isn’t going into Holly’s scrapbook, it will be in my “Learning Digital Scrapbooking” scrapbook.

Yesterday Holly and I went to the play area at the Waterford Mall with her friend Chloe and Chloe’s mom Cara. It was so much fun! Holly had a blast! I tried taking lots of pictures but most of them didn’t come out to well, she was moving way to fast for me. The minute I took her out of her carriage she was off and and just started running around with a HUGE smile on her face. There were a lot of kids there, mostly bigger than her so it was a little crazy because they weren’t being very careful of the little ones. But Holly and Chloe did fine on their own. After a while Holly noticed the slide and went right up…

I know it’s been 18 days since I posted. I didn’t have my camera for a few of those days and just got behind. But today I was informed it had been 18 days so I decided to make sure I updated today! Can you believe that Allison is 5 month’s old today. Where is the time going. She’s getting so big so fast and changing so much. Here are our monthly pictures of her with the zebra. I was able to snap one picture before she grabbed the zebra….. and put it in her mouth…. everything goes in the mouth now. I think each month’s picture is going to be harder and harder to take! I impaitently waited for my laptop to arrive today….it was a long day!! I was like a kid on Christmas morning waiting for her parents to wake up. It finally arrived at 3:31pm. I was so excited…but it took for ever to get all the updates I needed and to add the virus protection and then I had to cook dinner…why didn’t we get take-out tonight? But I’ve got it now and it’s up and running and now I just need to transfer everything to it. What a chore….but a good chore. Thanks again Steve and Holly for my awesome Birthday Gift. I guess turning 33 isn’t so bad after all.

Holly loves to play. She plays very well by herself too. She’s such a good girl!! Today she decided that she was going to play with everything at once!! Twice she emptied out her toy box and just tossed everything everywhere. It’s a small area so it fills up pretty quickly. Maybe she was looking for something and thought, hey this could be fun. I don’t know but I had to clean it up and then later on she did it again. Here’s the proof…. Then she decided after all her toys were out of the toy box, she’d take all of mommy’s “toys” otherwise known as Tupperware and put that all over the kitchen floor. What a mess!!!! But she had fun, that’s all…

On Friday Holly went to get her bangs cut (I can’t believe how fast this kids hair grows!!) and I decided to have Betsy take off about 2 1/5 inches from the back. She complains all the time when I brush it because it’s getting really knotty as it gets longer and also in the winter it gets very flyaway with the cold air so less hair to fly away. Holly really didn’t mind cutting a bit and it’s still long, just not as long. I think she looks cute. I know when my father sees it he won’t be happy, he loves long hair on little girls. When I was a kid, I had really long hair and for some reason ( I think…
