OH SO CUTE!!!

I have a blog. Not really sure if this is for me but since I read so many of them, Steve suggested that I start my own. The only question is, what am I going to write about??? Holly??? Scrapbooking??? Ok, those will work! Bare with me please, I’m not a good writer (or a good speller..is there spell check on here) but I’ll try my best. I usually send out emails on updates with Holly so why not just post it here and then I have everything in the same spot so when I want to scrapbook what she does, I can just come here. Another dancing Holly video. She loves to dance!! It’s just so cute, and she does it so much throughout the day I enjoy every minute of it. It’s hard to believe that in one week from today she will be 2!!! That’s just amazing. And she is doing so much for a 2 year old, we are very proud of her. How fast the last 2 years went by!!! Holly LOVES her books. She wont really sit too long and let us read to her but she does spend a LOT of time looking through her books. I’m glad because her daddy is a HUGE reader and I know he learned a lot of what he knows through reading and I wish for that for her too. I enjoy reading too, but I like the romance novels and I don’t learn too much I can use in life from them. LOL I keep a bunch of books in the car now too and if I need to keep her awake or she just needs some entertaining, then I hand her a book. She’ll sit there, point to things that she knows and even thing…

Well we’ve realized that we should start trying to Potty Train Holly. Not exactly sure how to go about it but the first step was to open the box with the Potty that’s been sitting in my dining room for 2 months now. So last night I did exactly that, put it together and put it next to the toilet in the bathroom. When it was time for Holly’s bath I said to her… “Do you want to sit on the potty and do pee pee’s?” She got all excited sat down smiled for the camera and then got up. Then she went back, sat down, smiled for the camera again and then got up. We did this about 5 times without any pee pee’s….

This morning, Steve had a late meeting so he was home when the girls woke up. Like most weekend mornings, I was still sleeping, so he brought them both into bed with us while I slowly woke up. I over heard this conversation between Holly and Steve and I wanted to make sure I made a record of it, because it was so sweet. Here is what I heard…. Well, almost. It is absolutely beautiful here today. We have the heat down, a few windows open….I love the fresh air coming in, especially at the beginning of Spring. I’m sure it won’t last long, but I’m not even thinking about that. We had to run out to Walmart for a few things and it was too warm to put Holly’s winter jacket on so I pulled out the Spring Jacket!!!! Ok, it’s not so exciting for everyone, but it was for me.
