My Little Lady Bug….

Today was like Holly’s first ever Halloween. Of course in her mind it was because she doesn’t remember Halloween’s of the past even though she’s always enjoyed it. No, it was like she experienced it for the first time today and we LOVED it!! Today is our 5th Wedding Anniversary. I can’t believe it’s been 5 years since we were married. Of course those have been 5 WONDERFUL years. My life changed almost 8 years ago when I met my husband. We started a new tradition for the end of Halloween. Sounds weird I know, but stay with me. Holly got two pumpkins this year and she’s been pretty attached to them. We never carved them, I don’t think should would of liked that. They had to be in her room at night when she went to bed and she carried them around the house with her too. Yesterday (Friday) was not a very fun day for us. We have some problems with water coming into the house through the garage when it rains a lot, especially in the winter when the ground is frozen. Yesterday was the worst yet and needless to say, this spring we are going to fix the problem for sure. Steve planned on staying home in the morning because that was when it was going to rain the most and the hardest. We have a few pumps so things were going well until about 10:30am.
