Midweek update…
ByKarenJust a quick midweek update with some pictures to share. Allison is getting a little restless right now so this will be short and sweet. The girls are doing great and so are we. Mommy and her girls….This is actually Allison’s halloween costume but Holly wanted to put it on, it’s pretty small on her, though it doesn’t look that small……Allison is probably going to be swimming in it. Since Holly liked it so much, I got her one too that will fit her better. She lookedso cute in it though.Allison eating seet potatoes…..believe it or not she did NOT like them….See what I mean!Nana and (a tired) Holly
That Face………….
ByKarenI just love this little face……… with that cheesy smile. That’s how she smiles when she sees the camera in my hand lately, all the while saying “CHEESE”. It’s really cute!! Here is another one……. I just love that face!!!
She did it!!!!!!!!
ByKarenHolly finally went pee pees on the potty!!!! This is such a big thing for us because though she has sat on the potty many many times, she never actually did anything. Well on Thursday night, Steve and Holly talked about going on the potty and she said tomorrow. Not that we really believed her, but I did still ask her in the morning if she wanted to go on the potty. She said yes. So we went into the bathroom (all 3 of us, I was feeding Allison at the same time) and she sat down and in just about no time she got up and said “look mommy, pee pees” and I couldn’t believe my eyes, there were pee pees in the potty….
Weekend Recap (Part 2)…….
ByKarenEaster morning Holly didn’t really understand that the Easter Bunny was coming so I got to sleep in before she got her basket. Once I was up, her basket appeared in her room on her Dora chair. She was so excited when she saw it and her favorite thing in the whole entire basket was a little plastic flute that cost .25. Go Figure. But we were happy she liked everything. When Nana and Poppa came back from church they gave her their Easter Basket, another fun one! She loved everything in there too. I tried really hard to get a good picture of her in her dress, but she didn’t want to pose for me so this is the best I got. Daddy cooked…
Summertime…
ByKarenI love the summer, but not the heat. We defiently do so much more in the summer than any other time of year. Things we LOVE about summer: 1. POOL When we were looking for a house a pool was NOT a priority and when we found one with it, we figured it was a great bonus. We had no idea how awesome it would be to have a pool. We have a huge yard so right after Steve mows the lawn (on his riding mower) he jumps right into the pool to cool off. Makes mowing more fun. The first summer here we knew the pool was worth it and last year was even better because Holly LOVED the water. I’m hoping she enjoys…
Moving Day turned into……
ByKarenSick Night. Yup! You read that right. Holly had so much fun with her new room, getting a hair cut and all her new toys (see post below) but her night wasn’t as much fun. Around 9:30pm she woke up and threw up all over her crib and everything in it. Poor thing was crying and shaking, she had no idea what just happened. So we got her up, cleaned her up and sat up with her most of the night. She continued getting sick for 4 hours!! Poor thing, all she wanted to do was go to sleep she was so tired. Steve went to bed around 11:30 so he could get up with her in the morning since I was obviously going to…
