More Dancing……..

Holly and I planted some seeds earlier in the summer. We didn’t water them very often and then we went almost a month without rain so I didn’t expect anything to bloom. Well, today we went outside and to our surprise we saw this……….. And a picture of the girls in their matching dresses, waiting for mommy while she took pictures of the One Flower…….

Poor Allison, she’s sick again. Only this is not something she caught from anyone. She has a UTI. Not FUN! She started with a low grade fever last Monday night and we just figured it was teeth (which she still has NONE of) but on Thursday her temp went up over 101.6 so I called the doctor. She checked out fine without anything going on that was visible, so he told me if her fever continued over 101 then to come back the next day and they would do blood work and check her urine. Her fever went up to 103 Thursday night so back to the doctor on Friday. The office called me Saturday morning to tell me that she did have a UTI…

Tuesday night we put the last coat of paint on the walls in the Nursery and I love it!! The yellow just looks so sunny and springy. Steve moved all the furniture back tonight so I’ll take a picture tomorrow and post it. This weekend, my mother is going to put the border up and slowly the room will start coming together. Pictures to come soon. Spring is starting to show it’s face around here. Today it was in the 60’s and just beautiful out. Holly and I played outside for a while and I even took my coat off. Yesterday we found the first signs of spring and they were in the same spot they are every single year, Crocuses. They pop up first…

Steve took a trip earlier in the month and Jodi and Little David stayed with us for a few days. The kids had so much fun, even Allison! David and Holly are at a great age and they love to pretend and it was just a fun time. I scrapbooked a few pages from their visit…. When I dressed the girls one day I happened to but them both in red, I didn’t plan that but, when Jodi saw what they were wearing, she decided to put David also in red so they all matched. She lined them up on the couch to take a picture because they looked so cute! She jokingly said to me “hey we should go have their picture taken somewhere”….

Today is our 5th Wedding Anniversary. I can’t believe it’s been 5 years since we were married. Of course those have been 5 WONDERFUL years. My life changed almost 8 years ago when I met my husband. I knew shortly after I met him that we’d be together forever. It just felt right, I didn’t have to be someone I wasn’t, I could totally be myself and it was a great feeling. We had so much fun together when we were dating and we still do today. It’s great to wake up every morning next to the best thing that ever came into my life. I feel like the luckiest girl in the world because I know my husband loves me exactly they way I…
