Happy Easter

Remember me?? and my girls?? Yeah Yeah I know it’s been a long time since I last posted but mama’s been busy making money to put in a new driveway. lol I know excuses, excuses. We took the girls to the Washington County Fair yesterday and it was Allison’s first time riding any rides and she absolutely LOVED it! I was afraid there wouldn’t be anything she could ride since she is still little but there were 3 and she rode all 3 of them. She even rode one alone without her sister and she wasn’t the least bit scared. We were very proud of her. Here are some videos I took of Allison’s rides….

Allison is 2 weeks old today and she’s doing great. She is such a good baby, she does have her fussy moments, but overall she’s just so pleasant. We are really enjoying her and she’s letting mommy get some decent sleep at night so that’s always good! Holly is still enjoying being a little helper when it’s time to do things for Allison. She even lets me know when she’s awake from her naps. It’s really sweet to see her with Allison and she kisses her all the time. I hope Holly continues to love her little sister. It’s just hitting me recently that Holly is indeed a toddler. Where did the time go? I can’t believe that little baby girl I had almost 18 months ago, is now a Toddler. It really is amazing how fast that went by. Everyone told me it would go by fast but I really had NO IDEA how fast. Here are two pictures of her. That’s what I am… A bad blogger. Sorry. I just don’t get as many good pictures and videos of Holly lately. She’s onto me. When she see’s the camera she runs the other way. I guess after 10,000 pictures in less than 2 years, it gets pretty old. But today, she seemed to be in a good picture taking mood. So I got a few cute shots of her. I tried really hard because I know that some people are looking at my blog daily just to see another cute picture of Holly. Holly is so funny when I take out the camera lately. Sometimes she hams it up and other times she gets a serious and focuses on something like she’s trying to ignore me. It’s just too cute! I’m so glad I get to spend my days with her and enjoy all these moments. It’s so amazing to watch her develop and grow right before my eyes. And boy is she growing fast! I can’t believe that in 11 days she’ll be 17 months old. How fast did that go by?? Everyone told me it would be fast but boy they didn’t tell me HOW fast. I love this age (except for the mini temper tantrums, but we are working on that). She understands so much…

No more Momma or Dadda, it’s now Mommy and Daddy. “Thank you Mommy” and “I love you Daddy” Though I love this change because it shows she is growing up and her language is developing amazingly, it also means she’s not a baby anymore. We have just a few more things left of her ‘babyhood’ and once they are gone, it’s going to hit me hard. I see pictures like this one and notice how grown up she looks, but I can also still see her as a baby in my mind. Any mother can probably agree with me, it does go by so fast, almost in the blink of an eye. My mother has a Christmas tradition with her Grandchildren. Each year she buys…
