6 Month Pictures

OK, I think this blogging is catchy! My best friend Jodi now has a blog too. You can see adorable pictures of her little boy David HERE! Anyone else going to start a blog??? So who’s reading this blog anyways. I do see that people visit daily…some from around the world…but hardly anyone leaves me comments. Just say hi…I LOVE getting email!!!!

I haven’t taken the time to blog the last few days but got lots to say (when don’t I?!!). Most importantly, my nephew Jonathan, who is 8 years old, had emergency surgery on Wednesday to have his appendix removed. Poor little dude was so sick Tuesday night and then by Wednesday morning his side was hurting so much he could not even walk. His parents acted fast because they suspected it was his appendix and sure enough it was. As they took it out, it burst so now he’s going to be in the hospital until Wednesday receiving an antibiotic. Poor little guy, he is being so brave and doing well. On Wednesday evening I was lucky enought to take a class from Donna Downey…

I’m so excited. One of my layouts (of Holly of course) is in the Top 10 for a contest at Scrap Town. Now the member’s get to vote on the winner. I looked at all the layouts today and boy do I have competition. I don’t think my layout is the best one there, but I’m so excited for it to be there with the rest of them. You can take a look here . My layout is #9 (in case you couldn’t figure that one out, LOL). You have to be a registered member to vote, but hey if you want to register and vote, then go right ahead! Cross your fingers for me. Allison loves wearing every one’s shoes, I think I’ve mentioned this before. She looks so stinking cute when she wears the pink high heels. Please ignore the pacifier in her mouth, I know she’s almost 2. She only has it at night but we’ve been fighting illness after illness and well… I give in way to easy and why am I explaining myself LOL :). As I was saying, she looks so stinking cute… and she knows it. Of course “Z” got in on the picture. She’s getting more and more attached to him!The shoes are just a tad bit too big for her!

We didn’t have very good weather for the 4th of July but the girls still got to play at the beach at the yacht club for a little while. This was Allison’s first time in the sand and she LOVED it! She also enjoyed the water, she didn’t want to go all the way in but she was walking in as much as she could. But she wouldn’t leave mommy’s side, so she wasn’t all that brave. Of course, Holly LOVED the water. She didn’t want to go in at first but after a little while she went in with daddy.Sorry the pictures are blurry, my camera’s auto focus isn’t working very good lately, probably because we’ve taken over 16,000 pictures since we got it…

On Friday Holly went to get her bangs cut (I can’t believe how fast this kids hair grows!!) and I decided to have Betsy take off about 2 1/5 inches from the back. She complains all the time when I brush it because it’s getting really knotty as it gets longer and also in the winter it gets very flyaway with the cold air so less hair to fly away. Holly really didn’t mind cutting a bit and it’s still long, just not as long. I think she looks cute. I know when my father sees it he won’t be happy, he loves long hair on little girls. When I was a kid, I had really long hair and for some reason ( I think…
