Easter Weekend Recap (Long Post)

We had a very nice weekend. Actually the it started on Thursday for us. We arrived in Agawam Thursday morning because Steve had to work up there on Thursday and we returned home Sunday afternoon. We had a great time. Holly did fantastic while we were there. She wasn’t even bothered by the fact that we weren’t home for 4 days. She’s so great.

Being away from home seemed to inspire her to say more words. She says mama all the time now. She would say it from time to time but it is a regular word for us now and I LOVE to hear it. She also started saying Slow, More and Ball. Too cute! Love to hear that little voice, it’s the best sound in the world right now.

A few pictures to recap our weekend:

Eating Breakfast at Grandma and Grandpa’s House Friday morning….

Playing with her new ball in Grandma and Grandpa’s backyard….

Playing catch with Grandpa. He tried really hard to teach her to catch, but it didn’t work. But something worked because Grandpa got the most kisses this weekend!

Helping Grandma with the laundry. Holly made sure all of the cloth pins were inside the bag. She was very proud of her work!

NOPE, the cloths aren’t dry yet! Back to running around the yard!

Playing in the dirt is so much fun, except when the dirt is filled with ants and then the ants are all over you. (We had to strip her down outside because the ants were all over her cloths and starting to get inside them. She really didn’t seem to mind though!)

Just hanging out in her highchair in the restaurant, what an exhausting day!

OH Grandma bought some magnetic letters for the fridge. Wow look at all these letters Mommy!!!!

Just relaxing on Grandma’s chair after a long day. (She kept making Grandma get up so she could sit there..it was so cute!)

Easter Morning….Egg Hunt….Bubble Blowing.

The Easter Bunny left a nice basket for Holly at Grandma and Grandpa’s house. There was a Dora doll that talked when you squeezed her belly (Holly was afraid of this at first!), a princess ball and a few other goodies, but those were her favorites.

Not sure which one she enjoyed more, the egg hunt or the bubble blowing. She spotted the eggs immediately and started running to them. But she didn’t get the idea to put them in the basket. She just ran with them and then changed their location in the yard. It was really cute. Here she is in action….

Then came bubble blowing. She LOVED this. I think I know what I’m going to be doing a lot of this summer! That’s ok, we have TONS of bubbles at home. It will be fun. She just kept running after the bubbles trying to catch them. She had a blast!

Holly eating Easter dinner. She started a little before us because she was very hungry.

Just chilling after dinner. It was a busy day for her.

We had a great Easter weekend and Holly obviously from the pictures above, had a BLAST!!
