The slacking has continued….

Holly loves her daddy so much and she gets so excited when he comes home from work. Most nights I open up the door so she can watch for him as he pulls in the driveway. She loves to sit there and watch and wait….. Another thing she likes to do with daddy is sit with him and watch tv. She doesn’t usually stay very long but when she does, her favorite spot is sitting inside his folded legs. It’s so cute. I’m so glad that they have such a wonderful relationship.

I haven’t taken the time to blog the last few days but got lots to say (when don’t I?!!). Most importantly, my nephew Jonathan, who is 8 years old, had emergency surgery on Wednesday to have his appendix removed. Poor little dude was so sick Tuesday night and then by Wednesday morning his side was hurting so much he could not even walk. His parents acted fast because they suspected it was his appendix and sure enough it was. As they took it out, it burst so now he’s going to be in the hospital until Wednesday receiving an antibiotic. Poor little guy, he is being so brave and doing well. Tonight my little girl turned into the cutest little Lady Bug!!! She LOVED trick or treating so much. She wouldn’t say trick or treat to the people at the door, but she did say thank you and bye bye to each one of them. We took her to about 12 houses and she had a GREAT TIME. So much she didn’t want to stop. It was cute. We are glad she enjoyed it, though at first she was a little confused as to what was going on, but she caught on pretty fast. How cute is this….. Holly and I spent the day yesterday with Jodi and Baby David. After lunch we took them to the playground. Rather then go in two cars, I put Holly’s carseat in her mini van and went together. I glanced back at the kiddos and saw them holding hands. It was the cutest thing. I had to snap some pictures. They had a blast at the playground. But wore themselves out pretty fast. After that the both fell asleep in the car. So the two mommy’s went to Dunkin drive thru, order some coffees then sat in the parking lot and looked through a scrappin magazine together. It was fun mommy time! We had a nice day. It’s hard to believe that Allison was 12 weeks old yesterday. She is getting so big and smiling all the time. She’s still sleeping great and last night she put herself to sleep in her crib, without my rocking her, that was great. She also rolled over onto her belly while playing on the bed with daddy last night. Mommy wasn’t in the room to see it, but that was OK because daddy never gets to see any firsts. She also LOVES to ‘talk’ to mommy (and everyone else, but especially with mommy). She just goes on and on babbling and cooing, I absolutely love our conversations. Yesterday Holly and I went to the play area at the Waterford Mall with her friend Chloe and Chloe’s mom Cara. It was so much fun! Holly had a blast! I tried taking lots of pictures but most of them didn’t come out to well, she was moving way to fast for me. The minute I took her out of her carriage she was off and and just started running around with a HUGE smile on her face. There were a lot of kids there, mostly bigger than her so it was a little crazy because they weren’t being very careful of the little ones. But Holly and Chloe did fine on their own.
