Playing Dress Up

After dinner tonight the girls put on their ballet dresses and danced for us. It was really cute. I did get it on video but it’s too big to upload here so here are the pictures. Allison was copying whatever move Holly did, it’s so cute when she mimics her moves, except when Holly is doing something she shouldn’t. We had a nice Easter and the girls had so much fun. We are still having Easter Egg Hunts in the house. Did you know that the Easter Bunny left me a note saying he would be back this weekend to pick up all the empty plastic eggs. Yup! And then he will bring them back next year. Isn’t that nice of him?? (lol) I’m so glad because I have eggs EVERYWHERE in the house. Allison loves playing with the eggs too and dumps the bucket all over the floor several times a day. I’m glad she is enjoying them too, but we have lots of other toys too so it’s good that the EB is picking those up in a few days. Here are…

We had a very nice weekend. Actually the it started on Thursday for us. We arrived in Agawam Thursday morning because Steve had to work up there on Thursday and we returned home Sunday afternoon. We had a great time. Holly did fantastic while we were there. She wasn’t even bothered by the fact that we weren’t home for 4 days. She’s so great. Being away from home seemed to inspire her to say more words. She says mama all the time now. She would say it from time to time but it is a regular word for us now and I LOVE to hear it. We were up early again today. Poor little Holly, it must be so tough when those gums hurt. I’m sure that’s what the problem is. She tossed and turned all night. Mommy doesn’t get to sleep much on those nights but I can sleep in (until 8 at least) the next few mornings because Steve will be home. I’m so glad he’s an early riser! This morning while I was checking my email, Holly came walking down the hall wearing one of my slippers. That was the first time she did that, and it was so cute! Happy Monday everyone! I don’t really have much of a post today, just wanted to stop in and say hi. We had a nice weekend, I had the day off on Saturday and went scrapbooking for the day with Jodi. We had a lot of fun and I got a lot of pages done. I haven’t scanned them in yet so I’ll do that tonight and post those tomorrow. It was nice to spend the day with my best friend without any little ones around. But we did miss them, that’s for sure. Steve and Holly had a great day together.
