My Mommy and Daddy………..

Holly said her first sentence this past week. After dinner her daddy went outside to mow the lawn and when she realized he wasn’t there so looked at me, put her arms out (like when you say things are all gone) and said to me….”Where’d dada go?” I was so excited!!! I told her “dada went outside” and then she said in a question “outside?”. It was a conversation…something that is new to her and I and I LOVED IT. It made me realize how fast she is growing up. Allison has started solids and lets just say, she has her daddy’s taste buds, not her mommy’s. She does enjoy the rice cereal, but she doesn’t like Pears or Sweet Potato’s. Like I said, she’s got her daddy’s taste buds, no fruits or vegetables. But I am determined to change that. For now, we are going to stick to the rice cereal and try the fruits and veggies again some time soon. She is getting so big, so fast, but I guess that’s what happens when you keep feeding them lol. Yesterday we went to the Big E in Springfield Mass with Nana and Papa. The girls had a great time! The weather was perfect for being outside all day too and that made the day very enjoyable. Nana and Papa bought Holly a ‘ride all day’ pass and she really wanted to ride all day. She had a blast! Every ride that she was tall enough for, she went on. She was very brave with a few of them and she made mommy very proud. The height requirement was 36″ and she just made it at 36.5″. We got lucky! I’ve been told I am a bad blogger so this post is out of guilt for not blogging for over a week!!! (Hi KIM). It’s been busy with the long weekend, trying to get things done and Holly’s been fighting a cough and up at night for a little bit so her and I have not had a full nights rest for 3 nights. Hopefully she’ll be better soon. Steve’s been fighting a cold and it’s just about gone, and luckily I’ve been feeling pretty good. Holly was enjoying some blueberries this weekend, but it got pretty messy so we moved to the highchair. She had a blue mouth and blue fingers, she looks so cute! I took some pictures of her and she was being so silly. She’s a happy girl even when she’s blue!
