Long Time no post…

Allison had a great time at her party. She wasn’t sure of everyone at first but she enjoyed it once we got outside and there was room to run! She spent most her time in the sandbox. She loves the sandbox! She really enjoyed having “Happy Birthday” sung to her this year. She didn’t like it so much last year so I was happy to get some smiling pictures of her today. (Thanks Jodi for taking such GREAT pictures!)Mama helped her blow out her candles. I’m sure this is the last year she’ll need mama’s help.Allison snuck her finger into the frosting. She got that piece, no one else wanted it, I wonder why??

Well at least in our house and in Holly’s wardrobe. Most of her pants are too long for her so until i find more that fit her, we will be wearing a LOT of skirts with tights. I got these tights at The Children’s Place — love that store!!!. When I got her dressed I asked her if she wanted to wear her new shoes with the flowers on them and believe it or not, she ACTUALLY let me put them on her. For those of you that know, Holly usually gives me a hard time putting new shoes on her but this time she didn’t. Such a BIG GIRL!! So here she is in her first fall outfit and I couldn’t resist putting on…

The baby’s room is finally yellow. I am SO happy with how it’s turned out. We will put one more coat on this weekend, but it looks so GREAT! I was so afraid that the color was going to be wrong, when ever I pick out paint, once it’s mixed and bought, I second guess myself the entire time until it’s up on the walls. I couldn’t be more happier about the way this room has turned out. I can NOT WAIT to get the nursery set up now. Here are some pictures of our new Yellow room. Allison is getting to the age where she is starting to ‘play’ with Holly and Holly just loves it. While I was folding cloths downstairs the other day, they were on the floor with Holly’s tea set and play food and they were having a ‘coffee party’ according to Holly. How cute! Before bed the other night, Allison was sitting in her chair playing with her little dog and she dropped it on the floor, so Holly went over and picked it up for and Allison thought it was the funniest thing and started cracking up. So Holly picked it up again and the cycle of fun began. They were having a blast. I grabbed the camera and was able to get this little video….

OK, I think this blogging is catchy! My best friend Jodi now has a blog too. You can see adorable pictures of her little boy David HERE! Anyone else going to start a blog??? So who’s reading this blog anyways. I do see that people visit daily…some from around the world…but hardly anyone leaves me comments. Just say hi…I LOVE getting email!!!!

It seems like my blog has been all about my digital layouts. Sorry about that. I’ll post a ‘Holly’ update below this layout. My nephew Jonathan (who turned 8 yesterday) made his First Communion this past May. He’s also my Godson. It’s amazing how fast the past 8 years have gone by. It seems like it was just yesterday we were awaiting his arrival, not sure if he was a boy or a girl, and very excited. It’s one of those days that will always be fresh in my memory, that’s how exciting it was. Anyways, Steve took a really nice picture of him and I the day of his party and I finally scrapped it.
