10 months old…
Allison turned 10 months old this week, hard to believe that she’ll be 1 in just two months. As I’ve said before, where did the time go???She’s doing really well. She has been crawling like crazy since Christmas and pulls herself up on everything and is now cruising along the furniture. She really has the desire to stand and move along but she hasn’t tried to take any of her own steps yet. Still not letting go. But her balance is getting better and better every week so she probably will be walking by her 1st birthday. She seems to be going through a growth spurt and is eating so much more lately, but not so much in the form of baby food, but in the…

This is Weird….
I have a blog. Not really sure if this is for me but since I read so many of them, Steve suggested that I start my own. The only question is, what am I going to write about??? Holly??? Scrapbooking??? Ok, those will work! Bare with me please, I’m not a good writer (or a good speller..is there spell check on here) but I’ll try my best. I usually send out emails on updates with Holly so why not just post it here and then I have everything in the same spot so when I want to scrapbook what she does, I can just come here. So I’m going to give it a try. Please be kind in your comments. I do want to hear…

Mystic Aquarium
This past week the girls and I went to Mystic with Nana and Papa (Steve’s parents). It was so crowded but we still had a good time. The girls loved it. They went a few weeks ago with Steve but he didn’t have the camera with him but I had it this time. Holly was a little scared at first when she saw the big whales, but she got over that pretty quickly. Allison just looked and smiled at everything. Here are some pictures…. Holly was very excited to see the fish!Allison was enjoying the sealsThe penguins are mommy’s favorite part!See the frog??Holly was so brave. She went into the bird area and fed the birds and even held one. I was so proud of…

I know I know………
I’ve been slacking on this blog, I’m sorry. I’ve been spending so much time on my other blog that I keep forgetting to put up some new pictures of the girls. So here are a bunch of random photos from January 09. We got more snow on New Years Day so the girls were able to wear the new snowsuits that Nonnie gave them for Christmas. I love the Blue on them. Allison really enjoys the snow. They both wanted to help shovel too, so they got their sand shovels and gave mommy and daddy a hand. Allison loves getting her picture taken. And I love taking it! Allison just looked so cute cuddling with Zebra I had to grab the camera.

The Birthday Gift……..
Holly will be 2 in two days but today we went and picked up her birthday gift so she got an early present. We bought her the Little Tikes Slide and she LOVES IT!!!! The slide can be used indoors our outside, and Holly LOVES going on the slide so we knew it would be the perfect gift, and it was. It was so fun to see how excited she was when daddy put it together, her face lite up! It was the first time she’s really ever had a reaction like that and we enjoyed it so much. 2 is defiently going to be fun (tough too, but fun). Here’s a video (of course) of her sliding on the slide. Enjoy!!!!

That’s Right………
That’s me!! Not sure how old I was there but I’m guessing a couple of months old. I was the second child so the pictures weren’t marked with dates or anything else. (LOL sorry mom but it’s true). I knew Allison looked more like my family but I didn’t realize how much she looked like me. When I pulled out that picture I felt like I was looking at her. Here is a picture of her I took recently that definitely shows the resemblance.
