I know we aren’t Irish…but still it’s a day to celebrate, right? Well actually the only way we are celebrating (again, because we aren’t Irish) is Holly is wearing Green today….. Obviously she isn’t looking very festive and happy in this picture, probably because I made her wear green and we aren’t Irish. But tough luck, I still get to pick out her cloths! I’ve been baking cookies for the past 8 years now and last year was the first Christmas that I didn’t bake (I think I baked the year Holly was born but I’m not sure, I might not of, it’s all a blur). I was so sorry that I didn’t so I made sure this year I did. I usually stress about getting it done but I didn’t. I enjoyed the process and I especially enjoyed Holly helping me. We are finally getting ready for the Holidays. Christmas seems to be creeping up me and it’s going to be here before I know it. My favorite thing to do is put up the tree. I love my tree and get so excited to do it, but this year, I wasn’t looking forward to it. Just the the thought of taking the time to do it and then thinking how will Holly do with putting things on the tree, not taking them off, then I figured Allison would be grabbing every from the tree and putting it in her mouth. We went on Monday to The Picture People to have Holly’s Official Easter picture taken. I’d do it myself but I can’t get her to look at the camera anymore. I also don’t have a place to take it without stuff in the background so off to The Picture People we go. The last time we were there was on her 1st Birthday. The thing about them is that the kids can stand up. She started walking at 9 months so by 1 year she was running and I knew she wouldn’t sit for a picture. The girls and I are finally feeling better. Holly still has a little bit of a cough but last night she didn’t wake up coughing so that is good. I felt so bad for Holly last week because she was running a fever for two days and she just hung out, but she was so sweet even though she was sick. She also has learned to give into being tired and will take a nap now. She hasn’t had a regular nap since she was 2! She naps at school two days a week and I didn’t think she’d even nap there and she does. So when she was sick, she wasn’t afraid to tell me she was tired. I got the cutest picture of…

As I promised Holly when we made cookies Saturday night, she got to have 1 (or 2 or 3) the next day and she loved them. She sat right at her little table and ate her cookies, it was really cute. She’s all dressed up to go to a christmas party at my mom’s house with all their friends. I think she looked adorable. She loves sitting at her table, as I’ve mentioned before. Dora is on the back of one chair (which you can see from the picture) and Boots (or Bootsie as Holly calls him) is on the back of the other chair.
