  • Mother’s Day

    ByKaren May 12, 2008May 22, 2012

Happy Mother’s Day!We had a nice day. Every year since before I became a mother, we invite our 4 parents over and we have steak and lobster. Yum Yum!! She wanted to buy me a card last week when we were at the store, I told her to wait till Daddy came home and he would take her card shopping. Our day started out early, well it did for Steve more than me. Allison decided at 5:30 she wanted to get up,…

  • She liked the cake…

    ByKaren April 27, 2008

The night of Allison’s birthday we tried the cake thing again and she did taste and and she did like it, but she didn’t cover herself in it or make a mess. She did, however, cry when we sang.

  • That cute little giggle…..

    ByKaren April 24, 2008

This past weekend our GREAT friends Karen, Charlie and Jessica came over to help us put together the swing set that the girl’s grandparents bought them. It was an all day Sunday project. Steve has been putting up the swings and toys during the week, but the entire structure was done on Sunday. Last night Steve got Allison’s swing up. This is her first time on a swing and she LOVED IT. She giggled the entire time. Here is a video I made of her….so much fun!!! http://www.youtube.com/get_player Thank you Nana, Papa, Nonnie, Grandpa, Charlie, Karen, Jessica and Steve. Those giggles make it so worth it!! PS…. Miss Allison decided that she would take 5 steps and then 10 steps on her 1st birthday!!! We…

  • Birthday Party….

    ByKaren April 24, 2008

We had Allison’s 1st Birthday Party this past Saturday and we couldn’t of asked for a more perfect day, weather and all. It was beautiful outside and the kids had so much fun. Allison enjoyed the day but got really tired from all the days activities. She was a little bit interested in the gift opening but not interested in the cake. She cried. Part of the reason was because she was hungry and she didn’t know that was food, it didn’t look like her regular food. I’m sure someday cake will be a recognizable food for her but not at 1. Today being her actual birthday, we are going to try the cake thing again so hopefully this time she’ll enjoy it. A few…
