We had a very nice Thankgiving and everything was delishous, of course. My mother has us all over for dinner and she does pretty much all the cooking herself and it’s always so good. We had a fun day and the kids all had a great time.

I’m so excited!!!!! Finally one of my scrapbook pages is going to be published!!!! Last week Memory Makers magazine emailed me that they were going to feature one of my pages in their online newsletter and I was VERY excited about that. Well this week Scrapbook Trends emailed me and they want to PUBLISH one of my layouts in their December Issue!!!!! I was so excited. I screamed for Steve and he thought something happened to Holly. This weekend I spent with my Best Friend Jodi in Mystic at a Scrappin Girls Weekend Getaway. Ok, it wasn’t called that, it’s really just an After Labor Day Crop, but we like to call it a Scrappin Girls Weekend Getaway because that’s what it was for these two SAHM’s. We had a really good time. Jodi left NH around 11am and arrived at my house for some coffee and birthday cake around 2pm. Saturday was her BIRTHDAY (HAPPY BIRTHDAY JODI!!) so I HAD to get her a cake. It’s been a while since we’ve had a picture of the four cousins so we decided to take on at Allison’s Birthday Party. Of course it’s impossible to get them all to smile perfectly at the same time. Like most 2nd children, Allison loves all of Holly’s stuff. Lately she’s been wearing her shoes, or mine and even Steve’s. It’s really cute and I think just about every kid does it. But today was the best yet. She came walking down the hallway wearing her jammies (blue – from David, we love hand me downs) and Holly’s Pink High Heel Shoes! And of course her buddy Zebra (otherwise know as “Z”) was with her. I am so glad I was able to grab my camera and catch a picture of her. Holly is developing quite the personality and she shows it with her many facial expressions. Steve and I find ourselves laughing at her a lot, especially when she gets mad. We can already tell the teenage years are going to be fun! Yesterday I caught two of those “famous expressions” on camera. Of course we think she’s just a beautiful even when she looks like this……. This look is saying “Mommy, I don’t want to smile right now”. This look says “What do you mean I can’t have another snack???” (I get that one a lot during the day, especially right before supper) But like the shirt, she’s a princess in our eyes, even when she gets mad.
Wow, two posts in one week by me, that just doesn’t happen anymore. LOL Yesterday the girls and I spent the afternoon at my parents house. I try to visit with them about once a week if I can. It was absolutely BEAUTIFUL outside yesterday. The sun was shining and there was hardly any humidity, just perfect. On our way there, we stopped at Walmart to see if they had a pool for Holly. We had to replace the one we had because we lost the plug to it and now the water won’t stay in it, imagine that. lol Anyways, it was the first opportunity to use the new double stroller that I got this week.
