Happy Thanksgiving!

Now that Holly is moved into her new room, we can start working on the nursery. I defiantly want to change the theme. I need something different because I’ve been looking at Holly’s room for almost 3 years. Change is good. We decided (well I guess really I decided) to paint the nursery yellow. I’ve been wanting a yellow room in my house and since my husband really isn’t into painting the rest of the house, why not have my yellow in the nursery. We are happy to announce that we will be having our second baby girl in April and she looks great! Everything in the ultrasound is perfect and we are so excited. All those cloths of Holly’s that she didn’t get to wear much because she has so many, will have a change to be worn by her little sister. Allison has started solids and lets just say, she has her daddy’s taste buds, not her mommy’s. She does enjoy the rice cereal, but she doesn’t like Pears or Sweet Potato’s. Like I said, she’s got her daddy’s taste buds, no fruits or vegetables. But I am determined to change that. For now, we are going to stick to the rice cereal and try the fruits and veggies again some time soon. She is getting so big, so fast, but I guess that’s what happens when you keep feeding them lol. Holly LOVES her books. She wont really sit too long and let us read to her but she does spend a LOT of time looking through her books. I’m glad because her daddy is a HUGE reader and I know he learned a lot of what he knows through reading and I wish for that for her too. I enjoy reading too, but I like the romance novels and I don’t learn too much I can use in life from them. LOL I keep a bunch of books in the car now too and if I need to keep her awake or she just needs some entertaining, then I hand her a book. She’ll sit there, point to things that she knows and even thing…

This is what we woke up to this morning……….. Holly was so excited when I pulled up her shade to reveal the beautiful white stuff. She asked me if she could go out and play in the snow I told her yes we would go this aftrnoon. Stay tuned for more pictures from later today!
