Happy Birthday Allison!!

Holly was enjoying some blueberries this weekend, but it got pretty messy so we moved to the highchair. She had a blue mouth and blue fingers, she looks so cute! I took some pictures of her and she was being so silly. She’s a happy girl even when she’s blue!

We had a nice Easter and the girls had so much fun. We are still having Easter Egg Hunts in the house. Did you know that the Easter Bunny left me a note saying he would be back this weekend to pick up all the empty plastic eggs. Yup! And then he will bring them back next year. Isn’t that nice of him?? (lol) I’m so glad because I have eggs EVERYWHERE in the house. Allison loves playing with the eggs too and dumps the bucket all over the floor several times a day. I’m glad she is enjoying them too, but we have lots of other toys too so it’s good that the EB is picking those up in a few days. Here are…

Yesterday Holly and I went to the play area at the Waterford Mall with her friend Chloe and Chloe’s mom Cara. It was so much fun! Holly had a blast! I tried taking lots of pictures but most of them didn’t come out to well, she was moving way to fast for me. The minute I took her out of her carriage she was off and and just started running around with a HUGE smile on her face. There were a lot of kids there, mostly bigger than her so it was a little crazy because they weren’t being very careful of the little ones. But Holly and Chloe did fine on their own. Allison was 2 months old on Sunday. She is getting so big too! We went for her check up yesterday and she weighs 10lbs 4 oz and is 22 1/4 inches long. The doctor was very happy with that. She’s growing perfectly! She also had her first round of shots. Mommy doesn’t like the shots anymore than her girls do. Allison actually did pretty well, she didn’t cry too much with the first one, but the second one must of really hurt because she screamed! The third one she was already screaming so that just continued. But after less than a minute she was fine again so I think she did really well. Unfortunately, she’s been running a very slight fever since she got them…

Well yesterday was day 2 and it looks like there will be may days to go…of course I need to be patient, but how come she didn’t come potty trained?? LOL Back to yesterday. I asked her before she got dressed if she wanted to go on the potty and of course she got all excited and ran to the bathroom. We got undressed, sat down, smiled, got up, closed the cover to the potty, opened it, sat down, smiled, got up, closed the cover, opened it, sat down, smiled got up..etc. She just kept repeating the process over and over. Finally some pee’s came out but she got up while she was in the process and it was in the potty, on the seat…

At least while we are home and she isn’t sleeping. That is Holly of course. She is finally potty training and it’s going so well in such a short period of time. A few weeks ago she started going occasionally on the potty at my mom’s house, but not here. Well, last week I started asking her more and more if she wanted to go on the potty and each time her answer was “no mommy, not now, no potty, I too big” Obviously she doesn’t realize that because she is big she needs to go on the potty, she gets confused. But anyway, buy Friday I realized that I just needed to take off her diaper and NOT put another one on, then she…
