Mother’s Day – My Girls Spoiled Me Today!

My girls spoiled me today!! My day began with them letting me sleep in, then waking me to kisses and breakfast in bed – heart shaped toast, a hardboiled egg and a granola bar. Then they showered me with lots of presents. They really made me feel special today It’s been tough being their mom the past 6 months, but I try my best and there is nothing I wouldn’t do for them . They are my world right now . The day was complete with a great dinner with my mom and dad. I love my mom beyond words and I’m so lucky to have her. Mother’s Day 2012

This year for Mother’s Day we did something different and I loved it. It was very relaxed except for the part where my mom and I packed up about 6 boxes (we are moving in June!) but thaw was ok BECAUSE I’m super excited to be moving. So packing boxes on Mother’s Day was something I wanted to do! But we had breakfast with both sets of parents, and the girls of course at the Westerly Yacht Club and it was delicious! Then we just hung out at home, did a little packing and had a simple dinner of some burgers and hot dogs. Me & My Silly Girls

We spent the weekend at my parents while Steve was traveling and before we left I wanted to leave some cute pictures of the girls on my mother’s camera. They were so silly. The camera settings were off at first so some of them are blurry but they were too cute to not post. Allison was being silly closing her eyes. Holly thinks she’s a model, always striking a pose. Allison isn’t quite sure what to do. She figured it out. lol

Happy Birthday to Me!

I turned 37 today. Yup 37! I feel like it was just yesterday that I was turning 30 and now it’s 7 years later. Time really flies, especially when you have kids. My mother had us over for dinner and cake this past weekend for my birthday. It was nice. The girls loved signing happy birthday to me. They are such good helpers. LOL Tonight Steve took us out to dinner, we went to the bar in Pawcatuck, we use to go to all the time before kids. I love their burgers so I was happy to go there.
