Blogger Challenge #1…
The gals on Personal Scrapper have posted a Blog challenge to help us blog more often. The first challenge is to post a favorite photo and why it’s our favorite. Now those of you that know me, know I take a TON of pictures. As a matter of fact since Holly was born I’ve taken over 7760 pictures. Pretty crazy, I know but when you have a digital camera it’s so easy to just keep snapping. Anyways, it’s very hard for me to pick one picture that’s my favorite but when thinking about it, this is the first one that comes to mind. It isn’t only a favorite picture of mine, but also a favorite moment…..
This picture was taken the morning after Holly was born. It was such a perfect moment in my life. I felt so complete. I was married to my best friend and we just gave birth to the most beautiful, perfect little angel. It was one of the happiest days in my life. I look at this picture and it just makes me feel complete.
I laugh to when I see this picture because Holly had such chubby cheeks when she was born. The doctor was almost positive she was going to be a big baby and when her head came out the dr said “oh yes, this is a big baby” then they pulled the rest of her body out and the dr said “oh I guess she’s not that big”. Her face was chubby but the rest of her was small. She only weighed 7lbs 12oz. I think of that too when I see this picture and those chubby cheeks.
Now for all my friends out there that blog…I challenge you to take this challenge!

What a precious photo! There is nothing like those first few days with your newborn! When I first saw the photo, I thought wow she is a big baby too 🙂 She really is a beautiful little girl too!

Beautiful photo. Isn’t it amazing how a photo can bring back a memory in an instant. I bet that when you look at that photo you can still feel her on your shoulder breathing lightly! Thanks for sharing! 🙂 L
Karen, that is such a sweet photo of you and cutie, chubby cheeked Holly! Now I’m off to attempt the challenge (gotta figure the photo posting out though 🙂 )
