Easter morning Holly didn’t really understand that the Easter Bunny was coming so I got to sleep in before she got her basket. Once I was up, her basket appeared in her room on her Dora chair. She was so excited when she saw it and her favorite thing in the whole entire basket was a little plastic flute that cost .25. Go Figure. But we were happy she liked everything. When Nana and Poppa came back from church they gave her their Easter Basket, another fun one! She loved everything in there too. While Jodi was here, we were able to sit down and grab a little scrapbooking time. Wish we could do this more often, but I’ll take what I can get. We had a nice LONG Easter weekend that began on Thursday when our friends arrived. Jodi and Lil David came to spend a few days with Holly and I because Steve was going on a trip (A trip that once again didn’t happen LOL). Holly and David were SO EXCITED when they saw each other, it was so adorable. They really are buddies and enjoy each other. They had a great time and played so well together, even better than I expected! Holly’s has had some issues recently with sharing so I expected a problem, but she did so well, we had a few issues but nothing like I imagined. That is Holly’s new phrase this week, “I can’t” and she means it, well at least she tries to. When I asked her to pick up her cheerios that spilled on the floor she said to me “I can’t”. When I told her it was time to take a bath she said to me “I can’t”. Just some cute pictures I got of Holly over the weekend. The tired princess…… Playing in the sand at the playground, one of her favorite places to be! “Mommy look, a BIG rock!!” Sunday we went to my parents house for Palm Sunday dinner. Holly loves playing with her cousins and I was able to get a cute picture of her and Jonathan and then the three of them.
