My Cute Cat Girl

My Cat Girl – This is Holly on Halloween (I know I’m behind!).  She had this dress in her dress up box and really wanted to wear it for Halloween.   Who was I to stop her when it meant I didn’t have to pay for another halloween costume!  So she wore it and it looked adorable. This is her at the Halloween party at the Westerly Yacht Club.  They put  on a really nice party for them every year.  Lots of great costumes and tons of fun for the kids. Daddy suggested I put some whiskers on Holly and it was a good choice as it made her even cuter! But then again, she’s cute with and without the whiskers!

Under the Weather

Allison was feeling under the weather and had a slight fever.  We felt so bad for her.  She didn’t want to go to bed so instead I put her in front of the TV with Eeka and her blanket and told her to relax.  I knew she’d fall asleep – and she did.  She looked so cute sleeping I had to take a picture of her.  I don’t know how she could lay in this position for so long but she did……… guess when you’re small it’s easier. I’m happy to report her fever only lasted a day and then she was fine.

Balloon Head

While visiting with Jodi a few weeks ago, the kids started blowing up balloons.  The most exciting part for me was Jodi showed me how to tie a balloon – I never knew how to do it but now I do! They had a lot of fun with the balloons and as you can see from the picture, Holly figured out how to make the balloons stick to her head and now she is known as “Balloon Head”. She’s cute no matter what!

A Blonde Zebra???

Have you ever seen a blonde Zebra?  I have. Of course I have. No, I’m not crazy.  I just live in a house full of Zebras so of course I’ll see weird things happening with those Zebras.   Put a Zebra, a 4 year old and Repunzel together and guess what you get? A blonde zebra……………… See I told you!

Father / Daughter Dance Picture

Photo credit Rebecka Richards I love this picture. Holly absolutely loves her dad, which is probably because she is JUST LIKE HIM.  Seriously, they are like two peas in a pod.  I’m not sure two people could be more a like. I think you get the picture. So when I look at this picture, I don’t just see a little girl who is happy to be with her dad.  I see a little girl who is looking at her dad with so much love and admiration — I know when she looks at him, her hearts melts.  And his does too. Whenever Steve travels, Holly cries when she has to say goodbye to him.  And she really misses him the entire time he’s gone.  Allison…
