  • “Make Believe You Like Each Other”…..

    ByKaren August 23, 2012August 21, 2012

While Jodi was visiting, she did the girls hair… they look like Princess Lea in Star Wars (is that how to spell her name?)  Jodi loves doing the girls hair because she has two boys.  After she did their hair she wanted to take a picture of them but the girls were having one of their moments.  They didn’t want to be next to each other or to even touch each other. So Jodi said to them “Make believe you like each other for a minute”.  And this is the result of that….. Holly the little actress went along with it and ‘made believe’ she was going to put her arm around her sister.  Allison pretty much stood there because she was told too trying…

  • Holly and David – The Love Birds

    ByKaren August 22, 2012August 21, 2012

A cute picture of the Love Birds.  They are so funny because they absolutely adore each other but yet while David was visiting the other day, I had to keep reminding Holly to play with him!  It was funny. Whenever we mention David’s name, Holly’s face lights up.  Can you tell by the look in her eye’s in this picture?  It’ll be funny to see if they feel the same way as they get older.

  • My Surfer Girl and Swimmer Girl

    ByKaren August 21, 2012

I love these two girls! This is my surfer girl in one of her cute bikini’s….. it has zebra print on it – of course! And my swimmer girl who still dances even in the pool!  (please ignore the color of the water, it’s not really green it’s just the reflection from the bottom of the pool!  Looks horrible, I know!)

  • Boxes and more Boxes……….

    ByKaren August 20, 2012

We still have boxes.  It’s been almost 2 months but the girls rooms still have boxes in them.  IT doesn’t look like this anymore..  (Allison popped up from behind a box when I snapped the picture!) ….but the boxes in the back corner that you see in that picture are still not unpacked.  The problem is they are full of toys – toys that they probably don’t need since they haven’t played with them in like 3 months considering they were packed up before we moved. Why do they have so many toys?  Because I can’t resist myself.  I see something they will like and I find a way to get it.   In my defense, a lot of the toys are for review on the…

  • The Joys of Moving – Never AGAIN!

    ByKaren July 26, 2012

I know I said these same exact words nearly 9 years ago but I mean it this time – I AM NEVER MOVING AGAIN!  I can see why people stay in the same place for years and years.  It’s hard packing up the house and moving to another one.  Especially when you have children – who have stuff – LOTS of STUFF – EVERYWHERE. I wanted to move closer to family and closer to my husbands job so we put our house on the market (for the 2nd time) and it sold in 22 days!! Next it was packing………… and more packing………… AND MORE PACKING. It. Wouldn’t. End. Everywhere I turned there was more STUFF to pack. It was like it was multiplying!  For every…
