Allison turned 10 months old this week, hard to believe that she’ll be 1 in just two months. As I’ve said before, where did the time go???She’s doing really well. She has been crawling like crazy since Christmas and pulls herself up on everything and is now cruising along the furniture. She really has the desire to stand and move along but she hasn’t tried to take any of her own steps yet. Still not letting go. But her balance is getting better and better every week so she probably will be walking by her 1st birthday.She seems to be going through a growth spurt and is eating so much more lately, but not so much in the form of baby food, but in the…

Just to start off, I don’t get as much keyboard time during the day where i can type, that’s why I haven’t been updating. It’s very hard to do an update one handed. Now that I’ve said that…..Here are a bunch of pictures that I’ve taken over the last week or so that I want to share. The girls are doing great. Allison is 6 months old, amazing!! We enjoy her so much, she’s such a sweet baby and so loving too. Holly still can’t get enough of her baby sister and now she likes to hold her in the rocking chair and sing her a lullaby before she goes to bed at night, it’s very sweet. Last Friday night Santa arrived in town on the local fire truck. I guess the reindeer aren’t ready to travel yet. After dinner we gathered with everyone else to await Santa’s arrival. This was the first time we were there to greet him so we had no idea what to expect. The girls were becoming impatient so we gave them so lollipops to buy some time and it worked, very well. When Santa finally arrived he began to visit the children in the crowd but unfortunately we were in the wrong spot. We are at the end, but we didn’t know that so we waited and waited until it was our turn. In the meantime Santa had all sorts of helpers there to entertain and…

The night of Allison’s birthday we tried the cake thing again and she did taste and and she did like it, but she didn’t cover herself in it or make a mess. She did, however, cry when we sang.

I hope! Holly is back to herself, like she’d never even been sick. I’m glad for that..I missed her little spirit running around the house talking on her phone, playing with her little people, dancing with dora. All that is back and more. Now we need to get Mommy back on the mend. I ended up catching what she had and was in bed Friday night when Steve got home. I spent the day in bed on Saturday and Sunday I was started to feel better. So far so good today. Now lets just hope that Steve doesn’t catch it. Tomorrow I plan on disinfecting the house to get rid of this bug. I just don’t have all my energy back today to do it….

Allison is a full fledged walker now and even tries to run at times. She no longer crawls! She started walking a bit right after her 1st Birthday and each week it got more and more and for about 10 days now it’s been a full time thing for her. We love to watch her walk, she waddles a bit still but is very steady. Her run is a really fast walking and it’s amazing she doesn’t fall over. Here is a video I took of her tonight walking back and forth down the hall to her room. I guess she was ‘dancing’ to the music and kept coming back to turn it on. She’s so cute. Holly had to get in on the action…
