Getting so big so fast!
And while changing her tonight, I realized she is the entire length of the changing table. The pacifier is a result of her being tired. See below for that story.
A few pictures of the girls playing in Allison’s room…
Those brown eyes…………love em!!!
Allison’s been getting up early, very early. A few weeks ago I was up at 5:15am for an entire week!!! Now I’m not a morning person so 5:15am is like the middle of the night for me. With Holly, I refused to get up that early, but I can’t let Allison stay in there and cry because she’ll wake Holly up. So over the long weekend we decided to try and get her to take just 1 nap a day, and see if that helped. She’s not entirely ready for 1 nap a day but we’ve made it through on pretty much just that this week and she’s getting up about 6:30 now. That I can handle, though I’d prefer 7:30 but anything is better than 5 am!!!
The problem is, if she naps early in the morning by dinner time this is what happens….
She just couldn’t stay awake so I let her sleep for a little while like that, and she looked so cute! And it seems that by the end of the day, we are giving her the pacifier more to keep her happy till bedtime. But she’s only ONE so why not!
Yesterday my friend Jen visited us. She and her husband Chris are expecting their 1st baby in September and she’s having a boy. I haven’t seen her since she’s been pregnant and I couldn’t wait to see the pregnant her. She looked so cute and is having a very uneventful pregnancy, which is the way you want it to be. Here’s a picture of her and her cute belly. (Hope you don’t mind Jen!) She’s all belly, without seeing it you wouldn’t know she was pregnant.
Isn’t she such a cute pregnant gal??
Jen and I have known each other since the 5th grade, but it wasn’t really until high school that we became good friends. That was a long time ago! We were discussing how those few girls that were pregnant in high school (back then there were just a few) now have 18 year olds and here I am with a 3 and 1 year old and she’s having her first. Big difference there! But we are both glad we didn’t have them back then, our entire lives would be different right now.
Just a few more cute pictures of the girls from this week.
I can’t believe how fast your Girls are growing! I still remember Holly’s first year milestones!!! They are so beautiful and such sweeties.
I love all the pics. I sure hope the sleep things gets back to “normal” for Allison soon! When their naps transition it really isn’t easy. hang in there Mom!
The girls are growing so fast! Good luck with the early mornings! I hate it when I get up before 7.
