We finally was able to take the boat out for a ride on Saturday. They were expecting it to be hot and humid but instead it was beautiful and a great day to be outdoors, especially if you were on a boat! We had a fun time. Holly stayed behind with Grandma and Grandpa. Our friends Mark and Jeff came with us. I’m glad Mark came because he grew up on a boat too like Steve so he knows the language and what to do. Well, my layout is in the mail and on it’s way to Scrapbook Trends. Of course, being a scrapbooker, I had to take a picture of the box and I had to take a picture of Holly with the box. I’m so excited!!!!! Finally one of my scrapbook pages is going to be published!!!! Last week Memory Makers magazine emailed me that they were going to feature one of my pages in their online newsletter and I was VERY excited about that. Well this week Scrapbook Trends emailed me and they want to PUBLISH one of my layouts in their December Issue!!!!! I was so excited. I screamed for Steve and he thought something happened to Holly. He laughed at me as I jumped up and down squeeling like a pig I was so excited!!!!! The best part of it is it’s a layout with me and Holly in it, which makes it even more special. I took this video this morning of Holly eating her cheerios with her ‘play’ spoon. The backyardigins is playing in the background, I was hoping to catch her dancing with them on video but of course the minute I started recording, she stopped dancing. Not sure how well this will work on here, it’s the first time I’m trying to put up a video. Hope it works!!

It seems like my blog has been all about my digital layouts. Sorry about that. I’ll post a ‘Holly’ update below this layout. My nephew Jonathan (who turned 8 yesterday) made his First Communion this past May. He’s also my Godson. It’s amazing how fast the past 8 years have gone by. It seems like it was just yesterday we were awaiting his arrival, not sure if he was a boy or a girl, and very excited. It’s one of those days that will always be fresh in my memory, that’s how exciting it was. Anyways, Steve took a really nice picture of him and I the day of his party and I finally scrapped it.
