A Trip to the Disney Store at the Emerald Square Mall

While I was in California for the premiere of PLANES, I had a chance to visit the Disney store.  It was so beautiful and I love walking through that store.  We used to have one at the Warwick Mall but after the flood a few years ago, they never came back to the mall.  So the closest one is at the Emerald Square mall.  When I told Holly and Allison that I went to the Disney Store while in California, they asked if we could go to one someday before the summer was over.  Of course I said yes. Big Summer Adventure – Getting Their Ears Pierced

Holly has been hesitant for a while about getting her ears pierced.  But when she noticed her friend Katie had her ears pierced and had mickey mouse earrings, she decided she definitely wanted her’s done.  We had to wait until the summertime because her dance recital was at the end of the school year and she can’t wear earrings during the recital.  She was OK with this because that gave her time to digest the fact that she was going to do it. School is Out and the Pool is Open

School is out and this is what we did the first day of school vacation.  My girls are like fish and they love being in the pool and oddly enough I’m enjoying it this summer too.  Not sure why.  Perhaps it’s because we have neighbors that enjoy swimming with us as well?  It’s always fun with friends.  Or maybe it’s just because I’ve slowed down so I can enjoy myself more?  I don’t really know but I have a feeling by the time summer is over we are all going to be completely water-logged from all the swimming. Father Daughter Dance – My Favorite Picture of Holly I absolutely love this picture I took of Holly from the night of the Father Daughter Dance.  She was more than happy to pose for me and this one was my favorite.  I love her profile and how grown up she looks.
