My Little Lady Bug….

I took this video this morning of Holly eating her cheerios with her ‘play’ spoon. The backyardigins is playing in the background, I was hoping to catch her dancing with them on video but of course the minute I started recording, she stopped dancing. Not sure how well this will work on here, it’s the first time I’m trying to put up a video. Hope it works!!

We were up early again today. Poor little Holly, it must be so tough when those gums hurt. I’m sure that’s what the problem is. She tossed and turned all night. Mommy doesn’t get to sleep much on those nights but I can sleep in (until 8 at least) the next few mornings because Steve will be home. I’m so glad he’s an early riser! This morning while I was checking my email, Holly came walking down the hall wearing one of my slippers. That was the first time she did that, and it was so cute! Yup, Allison is up on her feet, not walking yet, trying to figure out how to cruise, but she is up!! She started pulling herself up over the weekend. We used to put things on Holly’s Dora table that Allison couldn’t have, but we can’t do that anymore. First she would get up on her knees to see what she could grab, but after just a few days, she started pulling herself up on her feet and now she can reach just about anything on that table, she can also push it over, like she did today, opps! She’s standing along the couch, standing in her crib and trying to pull herself up on my pants leg. She even turned the volume down on her…

Wow I can’t believe that it’s January again!!! Each year seems to go by faster and faster the older I get. And now that I have a child, I can defiently see how fast time goes by, it’s amazing how big Holly is getting. She’s no longer a baby and it shows through every single day. She is saying so much, and so well too. Every week she is adding more and more words to her vocabulary it’s amazing! I need to work on Potty training a little bit more and see if it’s possible to get her trained before baby comes along, but I’m not sure if it will happen, but I’ll try. It would be nice to only have 1 in diapers, but…

I think I use that blog post title quite often but I can’t help it, my girls are cute! Allison usually gives me that scrunched up nose smile like Holly used to do give me but I was able to catch her before she did it and this is what I got and yes, she is “so cute”. I didn’t expect Allison to be able to wear many of Holly’s cloths because they were born opposite seasons but it actually worked out pretty well and Allison has been able to wear a lot of them. This outfit is one of the ones that was Holly’s and I’m glad we got more use out of it. Doesn’t she look ‘so cute’ in it? 🙂

Allison received a really FUN Water Table for her birthday from her Godfather Joe, Becky, Joey and Tommy. What a great gift, she LOVES it!! And so does Holly. While Daddy and Holly were in the pool on Thursday Allison played with the water table. Here are a few pictures.
