Getting better……..

Holly is doing great.Today (Monday), Steve went in to check on Holly before he left for work because she was tossing and turning and he noticed she had no pants on. He asked her why she took of her pants and her diaper and she said to him “it’s much better like this daddy” then she told him she had to go pee pees on the potty so he told her to get up and go and she did!! He then came to wake me up and tell me what just happened and to let me know that the bed was not wet and her diaper was pretty dry. We have no idea when she took it off but we suspect it was shortly before…

The girls got another trunk full of dress up cloths from Auntie Jodi for Christmas. They love playing dress up. This particular morning Holly just looked adorable. She is quite the fashionista! And a cute close up of my princess… Allison was showing me the picture that her and Holly drew online of Max & Ruby. I think they did a pretty good job! Holly is very artistic, she pretty much did all the drawings. Allison has her Cinderella dress on behind the picture, half on half off. My other Princess.

Holly will be 2 in two days but today we went and picked up her birthday gift so she got an early present. We bought her the Little Tikes Slide and she LOVES IT!!!! The slide can be used indoors our outside, and Holly LOVES going on the slide so we knew it would be the perfect gift, and it was. It was so fun to see how excited she was when daddy put it together, her face lite up! It was the first time she’s really ever had a reaction like that and we enjoyed it so much. 2 is defiently going to be fun (tough too, but fun). Holly learned to spell her name a while ago and can even write it. I’ve been told that’s really good that she can do that at her age. She is constantly asking me what a bunch of letters together spell. It’s very hard sometimes to even try and pronounce the letters she puts together. Here is an example: cdgghok – What does that spell? I have no idea. So I decided that since she wants to learn how to spell words then I will take a 3 letter word and work with that for a little while and take it from there. So our word for this week is DOG. Each day I ask her through the day how to spell DOG and she spells…
