A Picture with My Book….

I have looked in a few stores for my book, but haven’t found it yet.  While in Agawam this weekend, Steve and I took a ride to Barnes & Noble and it was there!!  I was so excited.  Of course I grabbed my phone and asked Steve to snap a picture of me with it…. It can be found in the Personal Finances section at Barnes & Noble.  I had to laugh when I noticed one of the books that was near it….. “Divorce & Money”  LOL

Budgeting Workshop at The JonnyCake Center in Westerly, RI

I guess I was always bound to teach in one way shape or form.   This picture was taken at the Jonnycake Center in Westerly Rhode Island.  It’s the local food bank and when they saw me in the Westerly Sun right before the holidays, they contacted me and asked me if I’d consider donating my time to teach a budgeting workshop for their clients.  I immediately knew I wanted to do it. At one point in the middle of the interview (which lasted about 3 minutes long) I thought to myself “Oh My God, everyone is watching this right now, at…

How Did I Get Here?

I’m sitting on the plane on my way home from Nashville, TN thinking to myself how did I get here??  I am returning home from Blissdom, a blogging conference that I’ve been wanting to go to for a few years,  and finally did.  I had a great time and connected with awesome people and brands. Blogging has become the best thing that ever happened to me, career wise and I’m so grateful for it.  It’s brought me so many great opportunities, emotionally and physically.  I started blogging in 2006 with this blog for my family, but then in 2008 I decided to start a second blog about saving money.  I had no idea that 3 years later it would explode the way it did and…
