Allison’s Kindergarten Birthday Party

Allison has the first of many birthday celebrations today.  Since it was school vacation this week, I figured it was the perfect time for her to have a party with some of her Kindergarten friends.  Since I have a boot on my foot and getting around is a big hassle, I convinced here to have the party somewhere else so mommy didn’t have to do all the work. We agreed with AC Moore for an Arts & Crafts party as long as she could do something with Zebra Print.  She was thrilled with the idea and couldn’t wait for the day to come. They did such a great job at AC Moore with the kids and I was very impressed with the party. The kids…

Kid’s Today and Technology

This is what we have come too.  It’s cute and sad all at once, don’t you think?  Of course this picture was posed because when they all get together they don’t play with their electronics but we thought it would be a cute picture to have to represent how the kids mimic their parents. My mother had us over for dinner and cake this past weekend for my birthday. It was nice. The girls loved signing happy birthday to me. They are such good helpers. LOL Tonight Steve took us out to dinner, we went to the bar in Pawcatuck, we use to go to all the time before kids. I love their burgers so I was happy to go there. Plus the girls really like going there and sitting on the high stools. It was a nice birthday. I wasn’t looking forward to it but it…
