Another day, another necklace (she previous post). Oh and she likes to look at the picture after I take it so she’s reaching for the camera saying “I see I see I see” then she looks at herself and says “Allison” only it doesn’t come out that clearly but she’s trying. She’s so cute!
Yesterday was my birthday and Holly picked some flowers outside for me. It was the best gift! She was so excited to give them to me. She even helped me put them in a vase and they are so pretty! It was kind of warm out yesterday so we set up the sprinkler and Holly had a blast! I tried to get some cute pictures of her, but she moves so fast it’s not that easy. And finally a picture of Holly and I……I have to get the picture from my mother of Holly, Allison and I, this is all I had on my camera.
I can’t believe it but Holly is 4 years old today. How fast did that happen? Wow! She is such a sweet girl too. We had a birthday party for her yesterday and she loved all her presents and had such sweet reactions to. Today we opened up some of the toys and she just had a ball. I’m trying to hold her off from opening them all so she doesn’t get tired of them too fast. We’ll see how long it takes to get them all opened. Allison has been enjoying her presents too. One of Holly’s favorite toys she received is Hungry Hungry Hippos. She’s been asking for this for a while and her godparents gave it to her. That was the first…
Today is my nephew Kristopher’s Birthday. He is 5 today. WOW 5!!! That’s amazing how fast he is growing. It really does seem like yesterday he was born. I remember when I went to go see him for the first time, his brother Jonathan, who was 3 1/2 at the time, was with me. He said hi to his baby brother then looked at me and said “Auntie Karen, why doesn’t say hi to me?” It was really cute. I think he as expecting a full grown boy to be born that would talk and play with him. This kid was kinda boring he thought. But Kristopher was absolutely adorable. Holly is a busy girl. So many toys to play with. But yet…she would rather play with my hair clips…. and the plastic bowls in the cupboard….. and the pens on my desk…. Do you think maybe we need to get her some more toys????
I don’t normally get great pictures of my mother because she hates to smile. She says she doesn’t know ‘how’ too (sorry mom, but you do!). Well I finally got a perfect picture of her and Holly and they are both smiling pefectly!! I scrapbooked it right away and I love how it came out. I found a quote that I thought would be great for this page because there wasn’t really a story to tell about the picture. It says “Grandma’s are mommies with lots of practice”. PERFECT!!
I finally had the chance to take Allison for her 6 month pictures yesterday, even though she will be 7 months next week! She did a great job, after I change her diaper. She wasn’t too happy taking pictures in a dirty diaper, can’t say I blame her. Here is our little superstar…. Tomorrow I will post our bigger superstar’s pictures since it’s her 3rd Birthday!
