She’s standing……

Yup, Allison is up on her feet, not walking yet, trying to figure out how to cruise, but she is up!!

She started pulling herself up over the weekend. We used to put things on Holly’s Dora table that Allison couldn’t have, but we can’t do that anymore. First she would get up on her knees to see what she could grab, but after just a few days, she started pulling herself up on her feet and now she can reach just about anything on that table, she can also push it over, like she did today, opps! She’s standing along the couch, standing in her crib and trying to pull herself up on my pants leg. She even turned the volume down on her sound machine tonight when I put her to bed. Steve asked me how she did that…she stood up and it’s right there next to her crib. I need to rearrange that tomorrow.

She’s also learning very fast, the littlest things we show her. I sat with her one night, showing her how the balls go in the ‘gumball’ machine (not real gumball’s) and after me doing it a few times, she got the hang of it. Here’s a video of her doing exactly that.

She also learned something else, but I want to get it on video before I tell.

Holly is doing great in school. The first day when I picked her up, she CRIED and CRIED and CRIED because she didn’t want to go home. I had to drag her out kicking and screaming, that was not fun at all. At least I know she liked it. I asked her what she did, she wouldn’t tell me a thing. Later that night I heard her talking to Steve telling him about her day. The second day, she also cried when I picked her up, but it was done and over with really quick and by the time we walked out of her classroom, she was fine. Today was her 3rd day and when I got there, she came running up to me “mommy mommy, i missed you!” OH that was SO NICE! No crying at all. I’m so proud of my big girl!

A couple of pictures of the girls playing together…

Great pics and cute video. Funny how Ms. Holly wants in on the video too. I love that Little superstar Stage. I saw it on a commercial and thought it was really cute. The girls must love the mirror!
