My Cute Cat Girl

  My Cat Girl – This is Holly on Halloween (I know I’m behind!).  She had this dress in her dress up box and really wanted to wear it for Halloween.   Who was I to stop her when it meant I didn’t have to pay for another halloween costume!  So she wore it and it looked adorable.

This is her at the Halloween party at the Westerly Yacht Club.  They put  on a really nice party for them every year.  Lots of great costumes and tons of fun for the kids.

Daddy suggested I put some whiskers on Holly and it was a good choice as it made her even cuter!

But then again, she’s cute with and without the whiskers!

The Easter Bunny Came!

We spend Easter at my inlaws but the Easter Bunny always finds us there.  One year he left us seeds to grow lolipops and he knew we’d be there so he left them there. Once again he left them some fun baskets only this year they weren’t as big as normal because the Easter Bunny hurt it’s foot and couldn’t hop along as well to gather more stuff for the baskets.  But he did leave chocolate balls all over the fireplace and the girls LOVED That.  We thought maybe they were Easter Bunny droppings but thankfully they turned out to be delicious chocolate eggs.  WHEW! A Trip to the Disney Store at the Emerald Square Mall

While I was in California for the premiere of PLANES, I had a chance to visit the Disney store.  It was so beautiful and I love walking through that store.  We used to have one at the Warwick Mall but after the flood a few years ago, they never came back to the mall.  So the closest one is at the Emerald Square mall.  When I told Holly and Allison that I went to the Disney Store while in California, they asked if we could go to one someday before the summer was over.  Of course I said yes. Saying Good Night to Daddy….

Since we became parents, Steve has always given the girls a good night hug in kiss once they were in bed.  It’s just something he always made sure he did.  It sounds trivial, but it was important to him to kiss them good night and remind them how much he loved them.  HE LOVED THEM SO MUCH! Tonight the girls said good night to daddy for the last time at home. Tomorrow Steve will be transferred to a Hospice Home where he can be cared for by people who can make him more comfortable than we can here. Goofy Kids and A Trip to New Hampshire

The girls and I took a trip up to New Hampshire for the day on Presidents day since there was no school.  It happened to be Winter Vacation for us, but not for little David.  But since it was a holiday, he had no school on Monday. The girls were very excited to see David and Joey as I was excited to see my best friend Jodi. The ride went well, we had no traffic and the girls enjoyed it too, which is always a plus.   However after driving for 2+ hours, we were all happy to arrive. Big Summer Adventure – Getting Their Ears Pierced

Holly has been hesitant for a while about getting her ears pierced.  But when she noticed her friend Katie had her ears pierced and had mickey mouse earrings, she decided she definitely wanted her’s done.  We had to wait until the summertime because her dance recital was at the end of the school year and she can’t wear earrings during the recital.  She was OK with this because that gave her time to digest the fact that she was going to do it. Me & My Silly Girls

We spent the weekend at my parents while Steve was traveling and before we left I wanted to leave some cute pictures of the girls on my mother’s camera. They were so silly. The camera settings were off at first so some of them are blurry but they were too cute to not post. Allison was being silly closing her eyes. Holly thinks she’s a model, always striking a pose. Allison isn’t quite sure what to do. She figured it out. lol
